Technical Trainer

About the role

The Technical Trainer will train and enhance the competencies of motor claims consultants, fostering a high‑performance culture within the Motor Claims Operation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical knowledge training and support to Motor Claims consultants and leaders.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of company processes, systems, products, and brands.
• Support the Learning and Development team to improve onboarding of new employees.
• Manage ongoing content and knowledge for Motor Claims learning material.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, personal development and customer experience.
• Role‑model A&G values in all interactions with customers, team members and stakeholders.
• Identify and recommend system, process, product or service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with business risk policies and adapt them to commercial, legislative and business environments.
• Execute and embed change programs across the operation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Motor Claims role (preferred).
• Solid working knowledge of insurance legislation and procedures.
• Excellent coaching skills, preferably using Coaching Conversations methodology.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills aligned with Customer Connections methodology.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Adaptability to constant change and strong time‑management skills.
• Self‑starter who is comfortable using own initiative.
