Technical Services Engineer

About the role

Join the QantasLink Engineering team as a Technical Services Engineer, supporting the airworthiness and reliability of a growing Airbus A220 fleet. Based in Adelaide, you will work closely with the CAMO function to ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with OEMs to manage modifications and repairs.
• Conduct engineering assessments and translate Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness (ICAs) into maintenance actions.
• Investigate repetitive defects, analyse reliability trends and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and defect resolution support to maintenance operations.
• Participate in reliability programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with CASA regulations and internal safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in a technical aviation or engineering environment.
• Qualifications such as AME, LAME, an engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience with commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus, and strong knowledge of CASR Part 42, 21J and 21M.
• Proven ability to investigate defects, analyse trends and improve reliability outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholder influencing skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines.
