Technical Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Technical Procurement Specialist will support end‑to‑end engagement of major equipment and services for CDC’s data centre developments. Working closely with engineers, contractors and suppliers, you will help ensure that equipment planning, procurement and delivery meet the highest standards of quality, reliability and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning activities for new builds by providing input on capacity, scope and delivery requirements.
• Align equipment and service needs with project timelines, milestones and procurement processes from design through commissioning.
• Provide technical and commercial insight for proposals, supplier engagement and services coordination.
• Manage procurement of service providers, track progress, mitigate risks and report on delivery status.
• Conduct onsite checks, assist with scope clarification, estimating and invoicing to ensure accurate project delivery.
• Coordinate logistics, compliance activities and continuous improvement across all project phases.

Required profile

• Background in mechanical, electrical or ICT/OT disciplines.
• Experience working on large‑scale data centre or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, contractors and cross‑functional teams.
