Technical Officer – NV2 Cleared (Network/Hardware/Systems)

About the role

JiGSAW Notions is seeking experienced Technical Officers (NV2 cleared) to support a sovereign Defence program delivering mission‑critical ICT capability across secure, deployed and maritime environments. The role can be based in Canberra or Sydney and offers the chance to work on hardware, systems and network streams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hardware support, systems administration and network services for Defence operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot routing, switching, VPN, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and TE configurations.
• Implement and manage next‑gen firewalls, VoIP, enterprise wireless LAN and network segmentation.
• Monitor network telemetry using NetFlow, SNMP and Elastic monitoring tools.
• Deploy and support Cisco networking products, HYCU backup, Microsoft and Red Hat solutions.
• Utilise container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift for service delivery.

Required profile

• Current NV2 AGSVA security clearance (mandatory).
• Proven experience in highly regulated, secure environments.
• Background in Defence or sovereign ICT programmes is advantageous.
