About the role
DUAL is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to develop and enhance its core application WebRater across Australia and New Zealand. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on system work, solving complex problems, and collaborating closely with developers.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with other Business Analysts to shape and refine new features and enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Investigate defects and incidents using system data and tooling.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot and validate solutions.
- Analyse integrations, data flows and platform performance to identify improvements.
- Support delivery from design and build through to release.
Required profile
- Curious, detail‑driven professional who enjoys digging into how systems work.
- Comfortable working with developers in technical environments.
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, preferably with a background in insurance or underwriting.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with Angular.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Familiarity with Azure services and Application Insights.
