Technical Business Analyst - Infrastructure & Telecoms

About the role

A Technical Business Analyst is sought to support the delivery of critical infrastructure and telecommunications programs within a government environment. The position is a 12-month contract with extension prospects, on a hybrid model with two days in the office, based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements
• Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, suppliers and delivery teams
• Support solution design, testing and implementation activities
• Analyse network, system and business processes to identify risks and improvements
• Assist with procurement and integration of technology solutions

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in technology, telecommunications or critical infrastructure environments
• Experience supporting large-scale telecommunications and mission-critical environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable in complex technical environments
• Government experience is desirable; a baseline AGSVA security clearance is required
