About the role
BlueScope is seeking Team Members (Process Operators) for its Western Port Manufacturing facility in Hastings. This hands‑on, physically active role involves operating machinery, moving steel products and supporting safe, efficient operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment to process and manufacture steel products.
- Use forklifts and cranes for material handling.
- Pack, strap and monitor products to ensure quality control.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
Required profile
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills and work as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to work rotating 12‑hour shifts.
- Flexibility, adaptability and respect for a diverse, inclusive workforce.
Required skills
