Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Coordinator at BP Australia Pty Limited supports the safe and efficient execution of Bluesky Project DDI activities, ensuring equipment is ready for contractors and project work proceeds smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to project work scope development, planning and scheduling, and participate in Bluesky (DDI) engineering planning, including design reviews and HAZOP.
• Lead equipment readiness planning, coordinate resources, materials and operational procedures, and manage project execution activities with contractors.
• Assist with project completion, punch listing, sign‑off, and develop site operating procedures that meet safety and operational standards.
• Liaise with shift operations and CoW teams to align project activities.

Required profile

• Extensive background in oil and gas operational roles with in‑depth experience.
• Proven experience in maintenance, project or turnaround planning and execution within an industrial or process environment.
• Strong ability to plan and execute operations readiness and coordinate large maintenance or turnaround events.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to safety.
