Team Manager - SA Operations

About the role

Gallagher Bassett is looking for a Team Manager in Adelaide to lead a team within SA Operations. The role provides strategic direction, ensures the business meets its KPIs and that service standards are met, and supports each team member through guidance and feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the team while maintaining compliance and high client service standards
• Build strong client relationships and identify solutions that drive client satisfaction
• Spot skill and knowledge gaps in the business unit's service provision and work with the Direct Manager to set strategies and processes
• Monitor workflows, work instructions and team performance trends, taking remedial action where needed
• Improve claims management outcomes so that targets are met against performance measures and KPIs
• Coach staff on technical and performance issues and work with Branch Managers to upskill the team

Required profile

• Experience in workers compensation or return to work
• Previous experience managing and developing teams
• Knowledge of general business and administrative practices and cost-effective business activities
• Experience in finance and resource management to deliver financial results for the business unit
