Team Manager – Proactive Services

About the role

Join Woolworths’ Proactive Services team as a hands‑on Team Manager. You will work across multiple stores, leading a crew that keeps the shopping environment clean, safe and well‑stocked with trolley availability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection and waste management.
• Create and manage rosters to ensure daily operational coverage.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership to identify challenges, opportunities and priorities.
• Handle time‑and‑attendance activities, including tracking hours and managing absences.
• Order consumables such as cleaning supplies, stay within budget and maintain stock levels.
• Perform core operational tasks alongside the team to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Ambitious mindset with a passion for retail and people.
• Flexibility to work in various store environments (shop floor, fridges, freezers, car parks).
• Strong eye for cleanliness and detail.
• Physical fitness for demanding tasks.
• Organised approach to equip the team with necessary tools and supplies.
• Comfort with regulated frameworks such as Food Safety and industrial regulations.

Required skills

• Valid full Australian driver’s licence (Green P’s or full licence) for trolley collection vehicles.
