About the role

Early Start Australia, a national multidisciplinary organisation providing early intervention and therapy services to children and their families, is hiring a Team Leader Occupational Therapist for its Launceston clinic in Tasmania. The role suits an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to lead and mentor a team of allied health professionals while managing their own caseload. A relocation allowance will be considered for candidates moving from interstate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload while leading and mentoring a team of allied health professionals
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-performing team
• Provide clinical supervision and professional development support
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and ethical practice
• Partner with families throughout their therapy journey
• Use advanced client management systems to streamline documentation and communication

Required profile

• Strong background in early intervention with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional registration (AHPRA)
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder
• Ready to take on a leadership role while continuing to grow clinically
