About the role
The Department of Children and Families is seeking a Team Leader to oversee the delivery of statutory and non‑statutory welfare services for families and youth. This role involves guiding a dedicated team to ensure services meet legislative requirements and departmental policies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team delivering statutory and non‑statutory welfare services.
- Ensure services are provided in line with relevant legislation and departmental policies.
- Oversee case management for individuals, groups and communities.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and development.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve service outcomes.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in family, child or youth welfare services.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of statutory obligations and program policies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

What we offer
- Remuneration package between $134,618 and $150,549 per annum (including salary $114,199‑$127,898).
