Team Leader – Agency Performance & System Support

About the role

The Team Leader – Agency Performance and System Support (APSS) role is based in the Loddon Area, North Division, within the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Victoria. You will lead a team responsible for monitoring performance, managing service agreements, and delivering place‑based initiatives that strengthen community resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a defined team delivering expert advice and recommendations aligned with organisational goals.
• Implement the Agency Monitoring Framework, including collection, recording and reporting of performance data.
• Manage local service agreements and resolve complex operational issues with community service organisations.
• Allocate resources and oversee outputs to meet service delivery targets.
• Develop new projects, service pathways and place‑based approaches while supporting existing initiatives.

Required profile

• Australian citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid work permit/visa.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise staff in a public‑sector environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for complex operational challenges.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment screening, including national police and misconduct checks.
