Team Lead AML - Fraud (Secondment)

About the role

ING is offering a 16-week contract secondment as Team Lead AML / Fraud within its Financial Crime Compliance Officers Team. The team helps keep customers and the bank safe and ensures local and global regulatory obligations are met. The assignment starts as soon as possible and is open to candidates in Sydney or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of compliance officers, giving feedback and ongoing training to raise their capabilities
• Review and approve SMRs triggered by a fraud or suspected fraud event
• Contribute to improving current processes
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders
• Manage KPIs and productivity markers to measure output and performance
• Deliver analysis and decision-making across AML/CTF obligations, drawing on experience lodging fraud SMRs
• Promote and maintain an effective, sustainable compliance culture in the team and the organisation

Required profile

• Previous team leadership experience
• Experience in financial services, specifically AML activities, for at least 3-5 years
• Experience mentoring and overseeing operations workload allocation and monitoring
