Tax Manager

About the role

Join Aussie Broadband as a Tax Manager and lead tax compliance, governance and advisory activities across the business. This permanent, hybrid position based in Sydney offers the chance to influence strategic initiatives in a fast‑growing telecom company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance, governance and risk management, overseeing income tax, GST, FBT and international tax reporting.
• Provide practical tax advice to support business decisions, projects, M&A activity, transfer pricing and international tax matters.
• Manage tax reporting, financial statement disclosures and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvements and build strong relationships with Finance, the wider business and external advisors.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 6+ years of corporate tax experience, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Strong technical tax and accounting knowledge across a broad range of tax matters.
• Excellent communication, project management and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
