Tax Manager – Business Advisory (Sunshine Coast)

About the role

Join a leading Australian chartered accounting firm in its growing Sunshine Coast office as a Tax Manager (also known as Business Advisory/Business Services Manager). You will be mentored while taking ownership of SME tax and accounting compliance and advisory engagements, helping to strengthen client relationships and drive the practice’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex tax and accounting engagements across a range of sectors.
• Supervise, mentor and develop high‑quality staff members.
• Build and maintain client relationships at all organisational levels.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
• Contribute to the firm’s culture and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement of technical processes, people and service delivery.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership experience in tax, accounting or business advisory.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to develop long‑term relationships.
