Tax Consultant – Part‑time Permanent Role

About the role

Join H&R Block in Miranda as a Tax Consultant on a permanent part‑time basis. You will work directly with individuals and businesses, delivering accurate tax returns and personalised advice.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑person tax consultations and prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Ensure all lodgments are compliant and submitted on time.
• Provide clear tax advice and maintain high client satisfaction.
• Handle fee calculation and payment processing.
• Foster a positive, high‑performance workplace culture.

Required profile

• Experience preparing Individual and Business tax returns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team‑player with a passion for customer service.
• Availability to work the specified seasonal schedule (Tax Season: 9 am‑6 pm, three days/week + Saturday; Off‑Season: 9 am‑5 pm, three days/week).

Required skills

• Proficiency with tax preparation software.
• Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with MYOB (preferred, not required).
