Tax Accountant – Corporate Tax (Brisbane)

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join our Shared Services Tax team in Brisbane. This position offers the chance to develop expertise in corporate tax compliance, reporting and governance within a global, multi‑national environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian corporate income tax returns and supporting workpapers
• Support withholding tax and cross‑border obligations, including IDS inputs and analysis
• Assist with tax reporting and provisions (current and deferred) for Australian entities
• Contribute to global tax reporting, consolidating regional inputs
• Maintain cash tax forecasts, franking accounts, and related schedules
• Support transfer pricing activities, including data collection and documentation
• Assist with FBT compliance in partnership with HR, Payroll, and Mobility teams
• Contribute to tax governance, ATO reviews, and research, including drafting recommendations
• Assist in the preparation of R&D claims

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
• Experience across corporate tax, ideally in professional services or an in‑house environment
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data in Excel
• Exposure to multinational or cross‑border tax is highly regarded
• Clear communication, ability to manage competing priorities and work well across teams
• CA/CPA qualified (or progressing)
• Motivated to continue building technical capability within a global organisation
