Talent Sourcer – Sydney

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Talent Sourcer to join Gartner’s HR team in Sydney. In this role you will build and maintain pipelines of high‑quality candidates for global sales positions, supporting both current and future hiring needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage passive and active candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, CRM data and other online sources.
• Generate interest through creative social‑media messaging and clear articulation of Gartner’s value proposition.
• Pre‑qualify candidates via phone interviews, trait assessments and behavioral questioning.
• Develop and nurture talent pipelines for immediate and future roles.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies.
• Conduct market mapping and provide market intelligence to inform hiring decisions.
• Expand professional networks through user groups, blogs and industry events.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Strong research and candidate generation capabilities.
• Ability to stay current with sourcing techniques and continuously improve processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
