Talent Acquisition Specialist – Early Careers

About the role

Join KBR as an Early Careers Recruitment Specialist to lead national graduate and internship programs. This 12‑month parental leave contract offers extensive exposure across Talent Acquisition and a pathway to a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of KBR's national graduate and internship recruitment programs.
• Manage university engagement calendar, careers fairs, networking events and employer branding initiatives.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce requirements and future talent needs.
• Develop and coordinate attraction campaigns across multiple channels.
• Review applications, conduct screening, manage shortlisting and coordinate interviews and assessments.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, student associations and external partners.
• Track recruitment outcomes and continuously improve early careers programs.
• Support diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Required profile

• Some talent acquisition experience with a proactive, adaptable approach.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a team.
• Genuine passion for helping people launch their careers.

Required skills

• Knowledge of delivering talent acquisition projects focused on sourcing and screening diverse talent pools.
• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or early‑careers hiring (highly regarded).
