Talent Acquisition Partner – Regional Queensland

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to lead recruitment across its regional Queensland offices, based in Gladstone or Townsville. You will work closely with local leaders to attract engineering, technical and professional talent and help build a strong early‑career pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for Transport, Industrial (Resources), Water, Environment & Land and Buildings sectors.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop targeted recruitment strategies and provide market insights.
• Proactively source talent in regional Queensland and national markets, including graduate and intern candidates.
• Represent Aurecon at university career fairs and regional talent events.
• Utilise recruitment systems, data and AI‑enabled tools to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

Required profile

• Strong recruitment experience in an in‑house, agency or hybrid environment.
• Proven ability to manage a broad portfolio of engineering and professional roles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills with senior leaders.
• Interest in graduate, intern and early‑career recruitment.
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with recruitment systems and ATS platforms (Workday preferred).
• Comfort using emerging technology, AI tools and data insights for smarter recruitment.
