TAFE Electrical Teacher (Full-time, Permanent)

About the role

Join the Electrical Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland as a full‑time Teacher. You will deliver industry‑relevant training to students across classroom, online and workplace settings, primarily based at the Acacia Ridge campus.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical training programmes aligned with current industry standards.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Utilise a variety of delivery methods, including face‑to‑face, virtual and on‑site workplace training.
• Collaborate with the Business Manager and experienced educators to maintain high‑quality curriculum.
• Contribute to the development of a suitability pool for future short‑term and long‑term teaching opportunities.

Required profile

• Current Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated current industry skills relevant to the training and assessment you will provide.
• Experience or knowledge of vocational training and competency‑based assessment.
• Willingness to hold or obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
