Systems Engineer

About the role

Saab Australia is seeking aspiring Systems Engineers to join its growing teams in Mawson Lakes, South Australia. The role offers the chance to develop systems engineering skills while supporting the delivery and sustainment of leading-edge defence capabilities. Multiple opportunities are available.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse system requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop requirements documentation and traceability matrices.
• Create system architecture and design specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and give feedback so that system requirements are met.
• Aid in integrating hardware and software components into the system.
• Work alongside senior engineers to implement system solutions and configurations.

Required profile

• Up to 4 years' engineering experience before this role.
• Practitioner-level experience in systems engineering, such as requirements management, system architecture, systems integration and/or verification and validation.
• Experience in complex systems is desirable.
• Australian citizenship, and ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline/NV1/NV2 level; past and present nationality and citizenship may be requested to check eligibility for access to materials covered by export controls such as ITAR.
