Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team in Sydney. The role focuses on managing both Windows and Linux environments, ensuring servers are built, configured, and hardened according to our standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure, and harden servers in line with SOE and security requirements.
• Manage Active Directory joins, promotions, and Group Policy hardening.
• Maintain VMware environments, apply patches, firmware updates, and perform routine system maintenance.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct performance tuning.
• Execute production deployments and support go‑live activities following established SOPs.
• Conduct operational readiness reviews and produce clear documentation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Windows and Linux system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, DNS, and domain services.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid Australian visa with full work rights.
