Systems Administrator – Cloud, Network & Security

About the role

We are looking for a senior-level Systems Administrator to own cloud, network, voice and security delivery for a portfolio of SMB clients. The role is hands-on, varied and involves bringing AI and automation into our services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure and Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview and cost governance.
• Configure and maintain managed switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, Wi‑Fi and structured cabling.
• Implement and support VoIP/UC solutions such as 3CX and RingCentral, including cloud PBX migrations.
• Develop AI and automation workflows using Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate and related tools.
• Apply security best practices: EDR, Zero Trust, MFA rollouts, Essential Eight and incident response.
• Produce and maintain documentation in IT Glue, network diagrams, SOPs and client asset registers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in IT support or infrastructure, preferably within an MSP environment.
• Strong Azure and Microsoft 365 administration background.
• Solid networking fundamentals (firewalls, switching, VLANs, VPN).
• Experience with VoIP/UCaaS platforms such as 3CX or RingCentral.
• Confidence in PowerShell scripting.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, MS‑102, SC‑300) are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
