Systems Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Accountant to join our high‑performing finance team in Brisbane’s inner northern suburbs. Reporting to the Group Head of Financial Systems, you will ensure our finance platforms run smoothly, support business growth and drive continuous improvement at the intersection of finance and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and enhancement of finance systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, NetSuite, Power BI, Power Apps, Blackline and Aurion.
• Maintain strong relationships with software vendors and technology partners.
• Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to implement system enhancements and process improvements.
• Own and resolve the Finance Systems support ticket queue, providing timely user support, troubleshooting and training.
• Develop ad‑hoc reports, dashboards and analyses to aid business decision‑making.
• Assist with finance systems projects, upgrades, implementations and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure finance systems remain reliable, efficient and aligned with evolving business requirements.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• Approximately 5 years’ experience in a Finance Systems or Systems Accountant role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and user training.
