Surveyor - Spatial Projects

About the role

Bennett + Bennett, a surveying, town planning and spatial solutions provider established in 1968 on the Gold Coast, is seeking an experienced and motivated Surveyor for its Spatial team in the Sunshine Coast office. The role covers spatial survey projects from data acquisition through to processing and delivery, with a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake spatial survey projects from data acquisition through to processing and delivery, ensuring technical accuracy, data quality and alignment with client needs
• Complete a mix of fieldwork and office-based tasks, including pre-calculations, survey reductions and deliverable preparation
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to support communication and progress
• Use advanced surveying technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and outcomes
• Work with a high degree of autonomy within a strong internal support network

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Surveyor completing Contour and Detail Surveys
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Surveying, with registration (or eligibility) with the Surveyors Board of Queensland highly regarded
• Strong time-management and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset and passion for quality outcomes in a high-performing team

Required skills

• Proficiency in 12d
• Experience with Trimble and Leica survey equipment
• Exposure to Terrestrial Laser Scanning and a Remote Pilot's licence are preferred but not essential
