Construction Surveyor

About the role

Bennett + Bennett, a surveying, town planning and spatial solutions provider established in 1968 on the Gold Coast, is looking for an experienced and motivated Surveyor to join its Construction Surveying team in the Sunshine Coast office. The role covers a mix of high-rise and major construction projects, balancing site presence with technical office-based work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely construction surveys that contribute to project success
• Complete fieldwork, calculations, pre-calculations, sketches and survey processing
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and compliance
• Liaise with clients, project managers and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Use advanced surveying equipment and software to improve efficiency and outcomes
• Work with a high degree of autonomy while staying connected to internal support

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Survey Technician or Surveyor, with exposure to construction projects (high-rise experience highly regarded)
• A relevant qualification in Surveying
• Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate, Graduate or above
• Strong time management, attention to detail, collaboration and a passion for quality results

Required skills

• Proficiency in 12d software
• Proficiency in Leica and/or Trimble survey equipment
