Surgical Dental Assistant

About the role

A recruitment partner is recruiting an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant for a boutique, high-end dental clinic in Adelaide. The clinic is a well-established private practice known for surgical and cosmetic dentistry, with modern facilities and a focus on patient care. As part of the clinical team, you will provide chairside support for surgical procedures and help run the practice smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures, including implants, extractions and full mouth rehabilitation
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilised to the highest standards
• Provide attentive, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical journey
• Maintain strict infection control protocols
• Support clinicians with efficiency and precision

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, with strong exposure to surgical procedures
• Confident in a fast-paced, high-standard clinical environment
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, polished presentation
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Relevant dental assisting qualifications (Certificate III/IV highly regarded)
