Support Services Coordinator

About the role

St Vincent's Health is recruiting a Support Services Coordinator for its Kew location. Coordinators run the day-to-day operations of the Support Services Department, supervising all team members and ensuring quality outcomes across food services, environmental services, porters and cleaners. Part-time fixed-term positions are available at 30 hours per week (PM shift) or 12 hours per week (PM shift).

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all team members daily and lead all areas of Support Services.
• Maintain data-based staff rosters and make daily staff replacements.
• Keep documentation and procedures aligned with food safety standards and programs.
• Collect and collate inpatient menus and enter them into the inpatient menu system.
• Oversee the daily food service centralised system and take part in meal plating.
• Complete monthly internal audits for cleaning, food and food surveys, and keep orders and stock levels up to date.
• Keep daily cleaning schedules running and ensure all staff training is up to date.
• Carry out required OH&S processes and report staff issues promptly to the manager.

Required profile

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (HLTFSE005 and HLTFSE007).
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Current PSA certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in a commercial cook-chill kitchen and in environmental cleaning in a hospital setting.
• Current NDIS check, or willingness to obtain one.
