Support Service Officer - Eastern

About the role

Benetas, a not-for-profit aged care organisation serving over 15,000 older Victorians, is hiring a Support Service Officer for its Eastern region. Based across the Blackburn and Mooroolbark offices, the role supports the Community Health & Care regional team with operational and administrative functions so that services remain responsive, efficient and person-centred. It reports to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for client, family and stakeholder enquiries.
• Support day-to-day operational and administrative functions so regional services run smoothly.
• Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant client records and documentation.
• Assist with reporting, audits, quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build positive working relationships with clients, families, colleagues and external stakeholders while promoting Benetas values and customer experience principles.

Required profile

• Previous experience in administration, customer service or operational support, ideally in aged care, community services, health care or a similar sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including preparing correspondence and meeting minutes.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, adaptable and team-focused, committed to person-centred service and continuous improvement.
• All employees must obtain NDIS Worker Screening Clearance to be eligible.

What we offer

• $37.40 per hour plus superannuation
• 12-month maximum term, full-time, Monday to Friday
