Supply & Inventory Planner

About the role

We are seeking an analytical and proactive Supply & Inventory Planner to support Hager’s supply chain operations across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the S&OP Manager, you will develop and manage supply and inventory plans that ensure product availability while optimising inventory investment and service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply and inventory plans to achieve optimal stock levels and customer service outcomes.
• Monitor inventory performance, analyse trends and take proactive actions to avoid shortages or excess.
• Coordinate international shipments, local purchasing activities and stock transfers.
• Prepare accurate supply chain reports to support operational and inventory decisions.
• Own and maintain master data for the Australia and New Zealand portfolio, ensuring data integrity.
• Analyse performance data to identify risks, opportunities and improvement areas.
• Automate KPIs and reporting tools using SAP, Power BI and SQL.
• Collaborate with internal teams, overseas colleagues, suppliers and logistics providers.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
