Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

The Supply Chain Analyst will own the end‑to‑end customer supply chain for Hershey in Australia, ensuring accurate demand feeding to factories and driving on‑time delivery performance. You will work closely with demand planners, production planners, distributors and sales teams to optimise inventory and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly, quarterly and FY supply‑chain targets, coordinating with HBP teams and ensuring orders are planned, invoiced and prioritised correctly.
• Maintain accurate demand visibility, update production and dispatch plans, and manage container and stock checks for weekly deliveries.
• Collaborate with distributors to set optimal inventory levels, communicate supply gaps and drive improvement projects.
• Support new product development and seasonal launches by providing operational timelines and data.
• Monitor ageing stock, approve write‑offs, and coordinate liquidation or repacking options.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of demand or supply planning experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data‑reporting accuracy skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with internal and external partners at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or equivalent) and SAP APO.
• Advanced Excel skills and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with S&OP/IBM collaborative processes.
