Supervisor Plant Electrical - Marandoo

About the role

Rio Tinto is seeking a safety-focused, people-oriented Supervisor Plant Electrical to lead a team of trade personnel at its Marandoo operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of scheduled maintenance and breakdown activities across fixed plant assets, reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant. The role is on an 8/6 day FIFO roster, flying in and out from Perth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of fixed plant maintenance personnel
• Provide safety and technical leadership so work is executed safely and effectively
• Act as a role model for positive behaviours, practices and processes
• Plan, organise and manage the execution of maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with statutory and site requirements, including safety and training obligations
• Manage team schedules, productivity and performance outcomes
• Identify resourcing and capability needs to support operations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise performance while driving productivity and minimising cost and environmental impact

Required profile

• Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• Experience in a field leadership role, preferably with in-depth knowledge of fixed plant equipment
• Understanding of the work management process and principles
• Current and valid C Class manual driver's licence
• Statutory Supervisor Qualification (AQF4)
• Relevant trade qualification (Electrical); partial experience match is welcomed
