Submissions Manager

About the role

ACCIONA Infrastructure's Origination team, based in Melbourne, decides which infrastructure projects to pursue and how to present the company to clients. As Submissions Manager you report to the Origination Manager and lead the submissions function across every bid, running the bid program end to end from strategy and resourcing to quality control and final submission. You will lead a large, multidisciplinary team of coordinators, writers and contributors and work directly with clients and executives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the submissions function and manage the full bid program
• Manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, high-quality submissions
• Lead project selection, balancing risk, reward and whole-of-company value
• Present client messaging and lead meetings with executives and client teams
• Prepare governance documents and keep approvals aligned to Limits of Authority
• Negotiate consultant agreements and shape the commercial solution
• Coach the team and improve submission processes, templates and resources

Required profile

• Business or related qualification, or equivalent experience
• Proven record of leading successful, compliant tenders or proposals
• Experience managing concurrent submissions to strict deadlines
• Proven ability to lead and coach multidisciplinary teams
