Student Communications and Information Advisor

About the role

The Student Communications and Information Advisor joins UniSQ’s Student Communications, Events and Development team to create clear, engaging and accessible content that supports students throughout their university journey. You will help students feel connected, informed and supported by delivering timely communications across multiple digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage digital communications (emails, web pages, knowledge‑base articles) for students from offer acceptance to graduation.
• Translate complex information into simple, inclusive messages that meet student needs.
• Support the planning and execution of student‑focused events and programs across three campuses.
• Collaborate with team members and other university services to ensure consistent messaging.
• Use data and student feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness.

Required profile

• Passionate communicator who values clarity, empathy and inclusivity.
• Organised, proactive and able to deliver high‑quality content on schedule.
• Degree in communications or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience delivering digital communications, preferably in a higher‑education environment.
• Ability to manage content across multiple platforms and interpret data to refine outcomes.

• Content Management System (CMS) usage.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
• Knowledge‑base authoring tools.
