Structural Modeller

About the role

Join Aurecon’s growing structural team as a Structural Modeller, working in a collaborative environment to create high‑quality BIM models that support the delivery of buildings, infrastructure and defence projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3D structural models and construction drawings using Revit.
• Translate engineering designs into coordinated, buildable BIM models and documentation.
• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project delivery across building and infrastructure sectors.
• Assist in resolving design coordination challenges.
• Work within a BIM environment, supporting model coordination and integration.
• Continue developing technical skills under senior guidance.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in structural modelling.
• Strong proficiency in Revit.
• Experience on building or infrastructure projects within an engineering consultancy.
• Understanding of structural drawings and design intent.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Exposure to BIM coordination tools such as ACC, Navisworks or Revizto (preferred).
• Eligibility for Defence Baseline clearance (preferred).
