Structural Modeller – Engineering & Design

About the role

Colliers is seeking an experienced Structural Modeller to join its Engineering & Design team in Darwin. You will work on a variety of building and infrastructure projects, creating detailed structural models and supporting the delivery of high‑quality design documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structural models and detailed design drawings using Revit Structure.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal engineers to produce accurate project documentation.
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance with Australian Standards, codes, and BIM requirements.
• Conduct site inspections during construction and review structural assets, maintenance, and repair work.
• Support interdisciplinary coordination and contribute to project delivery from concept through construction.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience, preferably with local Australian projects.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Professional qualification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with design teams and external consultants.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit Structure (essential).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (advantageous).
• Understanding of BIM concepts and creation of working models.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards, construction methods, health & safety, and legal regulations.
