Structural Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Structural Engineer to design, specify, and deliver structural engineering services across commercial, industrial, data centre, infrastructure and defence building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design structural systems and foundations using concrete, steel and other engineered materials.
• Prepare and check design calculations, technical reports and specifications, using manual methods or software tools.
• Deliver work within budget, schedule and quality requirements.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, statutory authorities and other consultants.

Required profile

• Experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment.
• Background in design of commercial, industrial, data centre, infrastructure or defence buildings.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain baseline security clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as Space Gass, RAPT, RAM Concept and ETABs.
• Ability to prepare and review structural calculations and specifications.
