Storeperson Level 1 - Forklift Operator

About the role

A recruitment agency is hiring a Stores Forklift Operator for an Australian-owned company known for manufacturing and distributing air conditioners. You will work on either the early shift (5.45am - 2.15pm) or the afternoon shift (2.45pm - 11.15pm). About 70% of the time is spent operating the forklift.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the high-reach BT Toyota forklift to pick and put away stock
• Use the RF scanner
• Load and unload warehoused components to and from the assembly line
• Receiving and despatching tasks
• Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts as needed
• Stock replenishment

Required profile

• Evidence of a solid work history
• Excellent forklift skills and safety
• Reliable, follows through on commitments and contributes to team chemistry
• Optimistic and keen to work
