Storeperson / Forklift Operator (Afternoon Shift)

About the role

Redox, an ASX-listed raw material and ingredients distributor, is hiring a full-time Storeperson / Forklift Operator for its warehouse in Minto, South-West Sydney. The position is on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10:06pm.

Key responsibilities

• Despatch goods for customer orders
• Accept deliveries, receipt them, unpack, sort and check goods received for quality, quantity, type or size, and secure proof of delivery
• Maintain inventory, complete store reports and record stock movements
• Operate forklifts and other MHE to move containers, crates, cartons, IBCs and palletised goods
• Carry out ad hoc housekeeping duties

Required profile

• Current Australian forklift licence (LF)
• At least 3 years' experience operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts (essential)
• Experience with Mobicon straddle carriers is advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable lifting 25kg
• Good verbal and written communication, attention to detail and time management
• Able to work in a team and independently
• Preferably experienced with dangerous goods and HACCP
• Reliable and able to commit to full-time work, with two contactable references
• All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and pass a National Police History check
