About the role

As the Store Manager for Platypus Shoes in Kingston, you will lead a passionate retail team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve sales targets. Working closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Area Manager, you will shape the store’s performance in a high‑profile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and KPIs while maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Lead, motivate and coach team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales, celebrate wins and identify improvement areas.
• Manage rosters and wage costs in line with company targets.
• Oversee stock levels, store presentation and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S standards and relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high‑volume retail setting.
• Strong leadership with a results‑focused, proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and team development abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to drive sales and manage store performance.
