Store Manager

About the role

Arc'teryx is opening its first outlet store in Sydney at The Mill and needs a Store Manager to bring the brand vision to life. You will lead from the floor, connect with your team, and create a space where premium technical apparel meets an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build, develop and lead an engaged, high‑performing retail team.
• Deliver best‑in‑class guest experiences while operating the store commercially.
• Oversee labour, expenses and inventory to ensure profitability.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, coaching and development.
• Foster a store culture that reflects Arc'teryx values and connects with the local community.
• Control product flow, visual merchandising and inventory operations.
• Champion sustainability, innovation and outdoor exploration.
• Lead weekly leadership huddles to align people, product, operations and community.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of retail leadership experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commercially minded with strong financial acumen (budgeting, expense management, performance driving).
• Passionate about developing people and building confident teams.
• Committed to sustainability, innovation and community engagement.
• Adaptable, solution‑focused and able to thrive in ambiguity.
• Authentic, intentional communicator who leads with clear purpose.
• Enthusiastic about outdoor products and adventure.
