Store Manager - Ararat

About the role

ALDI is hiring a full-time Store Manager for its Ararat store. The manager is fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store and for leading a team, covering sales targets, training and development, and performance across financial, customer, people and compliance results.

Key responsibilities

• Run the store smoothly so customers stay satisfied, and keep it clean and safe
• Train and coach team members, give formal feedback and performance reviews, and conduct interviews for new team members
• Manage stock and inventory and minimise losses
• Work with the team on registers, filling shelves and merchandising special buys
• Identify improvements and manage resources to hit goals without compromising quality

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Leadership skills to motivate, mentor and guide a team
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate inclusively
• Goal-oriented, adaptable and able to make informed decisions under pressure

What we offer

• Remuneration of $125,195.62-$164,455.20 per year, including superannuation and predicted bonuses
• 40-45 hours per week on a flexible rotating roster including weekends and early mornings
