Branch Manager - Ararat

About the role

Elders is recruiting a Branch Manager in Ararat, Victoria, to lead one of its key regional businesses. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will oversee all aspects of branch operations, lead a high-performing team and drive growth across agricultural products, services and merchandise. The role suits an experienced agribusiness professional looking to broaden their impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team
• Drive branch profitability, growth and commercial performance
• Build trusted relationships with local producers and agricultural businesses
• Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
• Grow Elders' presence across the region
• Coach and mentor employees
• Champion a strong safety culture and commitment to zero harm
• Promote the full range of Elders products and services and deliver exceptional customer experiences and long-term client partnerships

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in agribusiness, sales management or branch operations
• Strong understanding of agricultural services and rural customers
• Livestock and agency experience highly regarded
• Strong commercial acumen and financial management capability
• Proactive, growth-focused mindset and strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to lead through influence, collaboration and accountability
