About the role
A family-run team producing premium natural stone benchtops for residential and commercial projects across Canberra is looking for a Stone Fabricator in Fyshwick, ACT. The role is full-time.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricate natural stone benchtops, splashbacks and vanities in the workshop
- Cut, shape and polish stone using machinery and hand tools
- Measure, glue, mitre and laminate custom stone pieces
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and job sheets
- Quality-check finished pieces before they go out to site
Required profile
- Sonemasonry trade qualification or proven fabrication experience
- Ability to read plans and job sheets
- Strong attention to detail
Required skills
- Confident with polishers, grinders and hand tools
- CNC bridge saw or waterjet experience highly desirable
