Step-Up Coordinator (OSHC) – Pakenham

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is looking for an experienced Educator to become a Step-Up Coordinator in its OSHC service in the Pakenham area. This is a permanent part-time position of 27.5 hours per week, combining before-school care (Mon-Wed and Friday, 6:30am-9:00am) and after-school care (Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-6:30pm). The role offers hands-on experience in team management, service operations and mentoring, with support from experienced leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Educators
• Build skills in service operations, administration and compliance
• Gain experience in roster and workforce management
• Strengthen relationships with families, schools and the wider community
• Deliver engaging programs covering STEM, sport, cooking, art and play-based learning

Required profile

• Experienced Educator ready for more responsibility and leadership
• Relevant Victorian Diploma-level qualification to work as an Educator under ACECQA, or working towards it
• National police check (paid by the employer) and Australian working rights
• Working with Children check and National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko)
