Staff Product Manager, Yield

About the role

Airwallex is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the Yield product, a solution that enables businesses to earn competitive returns on idle cash. You will shape strategy, drive roadmap execution, and expand the offering globally.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own Airwallex’s Yield product strategy, solution design, roadmap, and delivery plans.
• Partner with Sydney‑based engineering and design teams to build high‑quality, scalable features for web and mobile.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, legal and finance teams to navigate regulatory and operational complexity.
• Deeply understand user needs, target markets, and competitive landscape to inform prioritisation.
• Manage trade‑offs between long‑term vision and near‑term growth in a data‑driven environment.
• Lead extension of Yield into new verticals, validating opportunities from concept to launch.
• Monitor product performance, drive continuous improvement, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Required profile

• 6+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Excellent communication skills to convey strategy to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to structure complex problems and use data‑driven insights.
• Proven ability to take ownership, move ideas to reality quickly, and thrive in cross‑functional, cross‑cultural teams.
