Staff Health Nurse - General Ward (Part-Time)

About the role

Glen Innes District Hospital is offering a permanent part-time Registered Nurse position in the General Ward, with 4 hours per week. The role suits nurses who want to return to nursing, balance other commitments or gain further clinical experience in a rural hospital setting. The position is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens with a current passport; visa sponsorship is not available.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients with a variety of healthcare needs in the General Ward.
• Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to contribute to positive patient outcomes.
• Gain clinical experience across medical, surgical, palliative and aged care.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Authorised Nurse Immunisation Certificate.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Current unrestricted Australian driver licence.
• Compassionate, adaptable and motivated, enjoying collaborative teamwork.
