About the role

HammondCare is looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to spend time with a remarkable female centenarian in Caringbah, NSW. She has lived an active life and still enjoys watching sport such as bowling, hockey, soccer and tennis, and would like someone to share those interests and memories. Visits are one hour long, weekly or fortnightly, and flexible.

Key responsibilities

Enjoy relaxed one-on-one time together
Watch sporting matches, highlights or replays
Share stories, memories and friendly conversation
Offer companionship and a warm smile
Help make each visit something to look forward to

Required profile

18 years or older
National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
Able to meet a suitable time during the week, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday; visits can be weekly or fortnightly depending on availability
